New Year 2012 ranch update

January 5th, 2012

2012 has opened up with a few inquiries on working cattle ranches in B.C. This is encouraging since 2011 was very slow in this category. I do have a number of good working ranches for sale ranging from 180 to 350 hd capacity. Not the best time of year to view but a great time to get the inquiry information rolling.

Unique property sales were also slow in 2011 and hopefully will pick up for 2 ...

Horses / Pleasure, Work or Competition

June 13th, 2009

General senses is the horse business is tough and it's hard to sell horses. Truth of the matter is it's hard to find good horses and when we do find them we should be prepared to pay dearly for them. Buying a horse is a little bit like buying real estate. Sometimes what looks cheap turns out to be very expensive and what looks expensive sometimes turns out to provide us the hassle free use we ...

Future in Farming and Ranching

June 12th, 2009

Farm and ranch real estate sales in B.C. have been slow over the back half of 2008 and early part of 2009. In the past month there seems to be a serge in inquiries on working ranches. Some of these inquiries are coming from people that are involved in agriculture who are looking at the current state of the livestock industry and what the future potential may be.

B.C. Ranch and Farm Reductions

October 1st, 2008

Ranches and Farms for sale in B.C. are begining to adjust to the market. Large land holdings are proving to be sound investments in light of the huge hits being taken in the Stock Market. There is however less money around and moral is low hence some adjustments to the real estate market.

Aspen Croft Ranch Reduced from $ 784,000 to $ 729,000 / Coyote Creek Ranch Reduced from $ 529,000 to $ 48 ...

Farms & Ranches for sale in B.C.

September 26th, 2008

Attention! Huge Ranch Reduction.

Bonney Beef Ranch has been reduced from $ 784,000 down to $ 640,000. Seller turned 87 years old last month and it's time for a change. Wilf has let the maintenance on the buildings slip but he never quit farming. All fields are in current rotation and are good producers. Quote from Wilf " Farming pays the bills "
